When Kirklin approached me about doing surprise engagement photos for his beautiful lady, I was thrilled at the idea!!
Kirklin brought his family from Regina to Revelstoke for a week of adventure in the mountains. The plan was to bring the family to Sutherland Falls for some photos of the waterfall, while I captured the moment that brought Kirkland to his knee, promising a lifetime of adventure to Courtney.
I arrived at the spot and hid in plain sight, taking photos of the waterfall as it poured over the edges of the cliff. The weather co-operated & the setting was as picture perfect as you could hope for during a beautiful spring day in Revelstoke, BC.
As the family arrived Kirkland bent to one knee and asked Courtney to spend the rest of their lives as husband and wife.
It truly was an honor to be a small part of this beautiful couple’s life adventure together and watch the family celebrate with some sparkling apple cider and happy hugs all around.
