Jerek contacted me via a mutual friend wanting to surprise his lady with a proposal by a waterfall.
Sutherland Falls holds a special meaning for this out - of - town couple, so we chose this beautiful area a 20 minute drive from Revelstoke and made a plan.
A quick five minute walk from the parking lot holds a stunning view of the waterfall, and with the leaves starting to change colors, it was a sweet spot for the surprise.
What I loved most about this surprise proposal was that Jerek wanted to spin Shannon around right before he bent down on one knee to ask for her hand in marriage. Their unique lust for life and excitement and each other was contagious.
The water roared on and we got some beautiful photos of this happy couple. I can’t wait to see what life brings your way.
